Example Environmental Report

Most businesses find it straightforward to calculate the financial benefit of recycling their food waste using the OWL Solution for food waste management. Getting a similar calculation of the environmental benefits is not always as straightforward. Which is why we work with our clients to provide answers to the positive impact of switching their food waste collection to the OWL Soltion and ensuring their food waste is converted into green energy and fertiliser. With every client, we work alongside them to develop an Environmental Report which calculates and clearly sets out how much food waste has been diverted from landfill and how much biogas, electricity and fertiliser it has generated. Businesses often use these reports to feed into their overarching Corporate Social and Environmental Reporting
