OWL helping Hammerson to be Net Positive

OWL client Hammerson have provided an update on their Net Positive campaign in the form of this fun short film. Committed to 'putting more back into our environment and society than we take out', Hammerson is focused on carbon emissions, resource use, water and the socio-economic impacts of their business.

OWL are delighted to be working with Hammerson to collect food waste from shopping centres Cabot Circus, Bristol and Southampton's WestQuay to turn it into renewable energy. In 2018 that food waste generated enough green electricity to power 50 houses for an entire year. The animation below includes this raw waste-to-riches process - take a look!
